ADVENTURE WITH CLIMBING ON THE CLIMBING WALL WOW ZERWA YOU CAN START AT ANY TIME!

You don’t need absolutely nothing for this except your willingness! All you need to do is visit us, bring your sportswear and comfortable shoes with you and report at the reception desk that this is your first visit to the climbing wall. The operator present at the facility will tell you everything and introduce you to the world of climbing.

A visit to the WOW Zerwa climbing wall does not need to be arranged in advance. In addition, you don’t even need a partner to start your climbing adventure on our wall. We are equipped with self-rescue machines. After the initial training by the staff of our wall, you will simply be able to enjoy the movement of climbing on pleasant and accessible routes.

If you enjoy climbing, we encourage you to schedule a basic training with an instructor or take an ABC course. After initial training/courses, we encourage you to participate in climbing sections led by experienced sport climbing instructors who will develop your skills with the greatest attention.

Activities with

instructor

If climbing appeals to you, we encourage you to schedule an hour-long one-on-one class with an instructor. This will be an hour during which the instructor is only at your disposal. He will give you the necessary tips and information on climbing principles and technique. He will dispel your doubts and answer all your questions. This is the best way to make a good and safe start to your climbing adventure.

If, after the hour-long classes with an instructor, you want to learn further secrets of climbing then we encourage you to participate in the basic training.

You don’t even need a partner to start your climbing adventure on WOW Zerwa. We are equipped with self-assurance machines with a large number of routes accessible to beginner climbers. After initial training by the staff of our wall, you will simply enjoy climbing!

Basic

Training

Basic training is essential for anyone taking their first steps on a climbing wall. During the training you will learn rod belaying, tying the figure-eight knot, learn the basic rules of the climbing wall.

This is an hour during which the instructor is only at your disposal. He will give you the necessary tips on climbing and belaying. He will dispel your doubts and answer any questions you may have. This is the best way to get off to a good and safe start.

Training sessions should be arranged individually during a visit to the wall, by phone or by e-mail.

Course

ABCs of Climbing

The ABC COURSE OF CLIMBING consists of 8 classes with an instructor for 2 hours each, during which you will learn basic climbing techniques and how to belay from the bottom and on a rod.

Classes are held once a week, lasting 8 consecutive hours. The course price is 600 PLN (for sports card holders the course price is 540 PLN) and includes:

  • 8 classes with an instructor on the climbing wall,
  • wall entries,
  • necessary climbing equipment, i.e. harness, belay device and ropes (climbing shoes on your own can be rented at the wall),
  • An 8-entry pass to WOW ZERWA to use during the course for individual entries.
